Phone contact
Following your application, we will have a brief introductory call. We’ll check if all the questions have been answered and get a first impression of how you come across over the phone. If everything is in order, we will immediately schedule a time for the first formal interview.
The job interview
Since you live abroad, the job interview will take place via a video call. During this conversation, topics such as who you are, what you are looking for, and why you want to work for International Flex Job will be discussed.
Contract and information
If we both feel positive about working together, you will receive all the documents digitally, such as the employment contract, your start date, and various information about International Flex Job, as well as details about your employer.
Arrival in the Netherlands
The big day! The International Flex Job team will pick you up from Schiphol and take you to the office, where you’ll receive a warm welcome. Afterwards, you’ll be taken to your new home and introduced to your colleagues and / or housemates.
Your first day at work
You’ll start with your new employer, where a dedicated point of contact will be waiting for you. Additionally, we will visit you regularly, and you can always reach out to us for support.
The right documents?
Do you have a passport from a country in the Europian union? Good news! That means you’re allowed to work in the Netherlands. Do you hold a different nationality? Then you’ll need a Dutch residence permit that specifies your eligibility to work in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, we can’t assist with obtaining such a residence permit. Want to know more?
